புரக்க வந்த நம் குறக் கரும்பை மென் புனத்தில் அன்று சென்று உறவாடி ... நம்மை ஆண்டு காக்க வந்த, நமது குறவர் குலக் கரும்பாகிய வள்ளியை அமைதி வாய்ந்த தினைப் புனத்துக்கு நீ அன்று ஒரு நாள் சென்று பார்த்து, நட்புப் பேச்சுக்களைப் பேசி,

புடைத்து அலங்க்ருதம் படைத்து எழுந்த திண் புதுக் குரும்பை மென் புய (ம்) மீதே ... புடைத்துப் பருத்து அலங்காரம் விளங்க எழுந்துள்ளதும், வலிமையும் அற்புத எழிலும் வாய்ந்ததும், இளநீர் போன்றதும் ஆகிய மார்பகத்தின் மீதும், மென்மையான தோள்கள் மீதும்,

செருக்க நெஞ்சகம் களிக்க அன்புடன் திளைக்கு (ம்) நின் திறம் புகலாது ... காம மயக்கம் கொள்ளும்படி மனத்தில் மகிழ்ச்சி பொங்க அன்புடன் இடைவிடாது தழுவிய உன்னுடைய மேன்மையான குணத்தைச் சொல்லிப் புகழாமல்,

இந்திரியக் கடம் சுமந்து அலக்கண் மண்டிடும் தியக்கம் என்று ஒழிந்திடுவேனோ ... ஐம்பொறிகளைக் கொண்ட உடலைச் சுமந்து, துக்கம் நிரம்பும் கலக்கத்தை நான் எப்போது நீங்கி இருப்பேனோ?

குரக்கினம் கொணர்ந்து அரக்கர் தண்டமும் குவட்டு இலங்கையும் துகளாகக் கொதித்த கொண்டலும் த்ரி அக்ஷரும் ... குரங்கின் கூட்டங்களைத் தன்னுடன் கொண்டு வந்து அசுரர்களுடைய ஆயுதங்களும், மலைகளைக் கொண்ட இலங்கையும் பொடியாகும்படி கோபித்து எழுந்த மேக நிறம் கொண்ட திருமாலும், (சூரியன், சந்திரன், அக்கினி என்ற) மூன்று கண்களைக் கொண்ட சிவபெருமானும்,

கடம் கொதித்து மண்டு வெம் பகை ஓடத் துரக்கும் விம்ப கிம்புரி ப்ரசண்ட சிந்துரத்தனும் ... மத நீர் கொதிப்பு உற்று நெருங்கி வந்த கொடிய பகைவர்களும் ஓடும்படி விரட்டுவதும், ஒளி வாய்ந்ததும், பூண் உடையதும், வீரம் நிறைந்ததும் ஆன ஐராவதம் என்னும் யானைக்குத் தலைவனுமாகிய இந்திரனும்,

பிறந்து இறவாத சுகத்தில் அன்பரும் செக த்ரயங்களும் துதிக்கும் உம்பர் தம் பெருமாளே. ... என்றும் நிலைத்து நிற்கும் பேற்றைப் பெற்றவர்களாய் நித்திய சுகத்தில் இருக்கும் அடியார்களும், மூன்று உலகங்களிலும் உள்ள அன்பர்கள் யாவரும் சேர்ந்து துதி செய்து போற்றும் தேவர்கள் பெருமாளே.
