உரத்துறை போதத் தனியான ... உறுதி வாய்ந்த ஞானத்தின் தனிப்பொருளான

உனைச்சிறிதோதத் தெரியாது ... உன்னைச் சிறிதளவேனும் போற்றத் தெரியாமல்

மரத்துறை போலுற்று அடியேனும் ... மரக்கட்டை போன்று இருந்து அடியேனும்

மலத்திருள் மூடிக் கெடலாமோ ... ஆணவம், கன்மம், மாயை என்ற மும்மலங்களும் இருள் போல் என் மனத்தை மூடி நான் கெட்டுப்போகலாமோ?

பரத்துறை சீலத்தவர் வாழ்வே ... மேலான நிலையிலுள்ள புனித வாழ்க்கையர்களின் செல்வமே,

பணித்தடி வாழ்வுற்று அருள்வோனே ... உன் திருவடியில் பணிவித்து வாழ்வு பெற அருள்வோனே,
