| | Paraphrase of this Poem:
Being the foremost in the Universe as the letter "a" is in all languages, the Leader, the Greatest and Inner Self of all, the Creator-Protector-Destroyer and the one above the Trinity, being all things in this world and in any other world, an embodiment of sweetness, You are the one who comes to me. In this vast world You have to come running to me so that I too can survive. Your majestic figure immensely pleases IndrA, the Deity who presides over all offerings. The hunter (AnthimAn*) who lived in the forest made an offering which You gladly accepted at KathirkAmam, Your favourite place. You, the rider on the dancing peacock liltingly, reside on the mountain at Pazhamudhir chOlai, where wealth is plentiful.
