Adhi aranukkum vEdha mudhalvarkkum: To the primordial Lord SivA and to BrahmA, presiding over the VEdAs,
AraNam uraiththa gurunAtha: You are the Great Master who taught the scriptures!
dhAnavar kulaththai vALkodu thuNiththa: Dynasties of the demons were beheaded with the sword
