* When SUran ruled VeeramahEndrapuram, he ordered the Sun to decrease the intensity of its heat rays while passing through the streets of the city. The Sun was so intimidated by SUran that he and other suns surrendered to MurugA who destroyed SUran to relieve all DEvAs from their ordeal.
