Lord Muruga's temple is etched in my childhood memories of Sungai Siput. My father was a Subramaniar Devotee and every Friday we were taken to pray here and at Kaliamman temple in Kanthan. Maybe this childhood practise has inculcated in me a deep love for Muruga. I try to make an annual visit to Pazhani take viratham to bear a kavadi to Him. Photos of the temple brought tears in my eyes. Sri Arunachalam is a familiar name. We left Sungai Siput in 1985 when my father retired from Kamuning estate. Lord Muruga Himself must have guided me to this site, as today is also Friday. |
Would like to know a Lord Muruga's hill temple where there is a colored statue of Murugan around 10 to 12 feet, along with a peocock. Would like to know where it is located. Desparate to know about it. Sleepless time spending in searching in internet. Please help us if you know. I saw this temple in MEGA 24 channel while they played kandashasti kavasam. |
