This is my second message for this year.

I have really experiencing such a fulfillment in my heart. To elaborate - my husband's research on ecoli bacteria is out in U.S. media and in Indian newspapers. Our dream was to make his research to be useful in many different ways around the globe. Money is not our motive.

I recall when I was young that my parents, grandfathers and great grandma, have told Lord Murugan Himself was a doctor. I am sure when He travelled He used lots of natural herbs to heal soldiers during His war with Surapaduman and others. So does He found out lots of mooligais and taught to make Navabhashanam. Germans learnt about homeopathic with using natural herbs found on the hills around Palani and vicinity like Oothiyur and Vattamalai. Bogar, being a Siddhar, later on took some of this to China and he had to come back to Palani to make Dandayuthapani idol. My father in law has also written about Palani hill and I have kept all our forefathers research papers safely.

Why am I writing all this? Definitly not to boast but to reveal how powerful the whole Kaumaram site has helped our family through many many years on various periods of our life at abroad and at home. Words cannot explain anything but to PRAISE LORD GUGA PERUMAN - MURUGAN! That I feel Him around me at all times.

This website is extremly resourceful to me to do prayers and research about LORD MURUGAN and His temples around the world.

As Thirupugal says, I want to say:

I have a request from my end. The mp3 format available for Thiruppugazh have really helped many in learning them through listening and the meanings provided help to understand the actual message in them. This site made me feel that much less homesick for my family and my culture. I was lost for a while and struggled to hold on to my beliefs and my culture as I am married to a white Australian and the town I live in has no practising Hindus that I know of. The birth of my daughter Jasmine, Shanthi was a lonely affair as I could not perform the usual Hindu rituals my famly would have performed if they were around.
