The sage NAradhar presents the MAthulam fruit (pomegranate), given by Lord BrahmA, to Lord SivA. Sri Ganapathy and Sri Kumaran argue on who should receive it. Lord SivA decides to give it to whoever circles the world first. Sri Kumaran rides His peacock and circles the world. Sri Ganapathy pays His respects to the Parents and receives the fruit.
