I am V.Chandrasekaran from Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India.
I am a Tamil Nadu Government approved artist and sculptor for 'Gopuram' work
and Devotional Paintings.

I have been an artist since my youth and I have done several paintings at these temples:

Sri Palani Devasthanam, Samayapuram, Veerapandiya Gowmariamman,
Koodalagar Perumal temple (Madurai), Madhanagopalaswamy temple (Madurai),
Sri Raghavendra Temple (Madurai), Sri Anjaneyar, Murugan Temple (Madurai,
Krishnarayar Tank). Sri Rameswaram, Thayamangalam Muthu Mariamman,
Thirupparangundram (Madurai), Alagar Koil, Palamuthircholai, Maruthamalai,
Thiruchengode, Thiruvenpanrisaram Thiruvalmarban Temple (near Nagerkoil),
as well as several others locations.

I accept mail orders for paintings of several sizes. Images of saints, scenery,
deities, & Indian lifestyle are my specialities. I also do personal portraits
(using a sample photograph). These paintings are done on cloth, hardboard,
paper and canvass. It takes about a week to complete a painting.
They are sent either rolled up, or hard covered.

My other skills are in 'Suthai' (cement sculptures), Gopuram work (designing &
painting), ceiling art work and Deities vehicles (eg. peacock, swan, etc).
(Note: For the 'Suthai' work I will appoint an assistant.)

The approximate prices for paintings are as follows:

122cm x 86cm, cloth (48 inches x 34 inches), Indian Rupees 4000 (approx US$ 84)
The same on canvass will cost Indian Rupees 5000 (approx US$ 105)
All paintings are without frames. Postage (courier) & handling charges are extra.
Remittance can be made by demand draft (dd).
